Queen’s Wharf Construction: Latest News

The development of the Queen’s Wharf precinct will be a major part of Brisbane’s construction industry until development concludes in about 2024. Contracts will be plentiful and there will be a rise in demand for construction companies and tradesmen throughout Brisbane. There will also be a large number of closures and construction sites which will affect accessibility in the Brisbane CBD.

The first of these closures will occur over the Easter weekend. From the 13th (7pm) to the 18th of April (4am) 2017, Margaret street will be closed from the riverside expressway to George street. This will allow for the installation of scaffolding along the Margaret street overpass and also a pedestrian gantry.

Throughout the course of this major development, we will be keeping you updated on any road blockages or interesting industry news around the development. We believe it is important to stay in touch with the industry, to know what is happening and how it may affect our clients. So keep checking in for any news and updates about the Queen’s Wharf Construction.
